The Bishop O'Rourke Library
The Bishop O'Rourke Library is closed for the summer due to renovation work on St. John's Catholic Newman Center. There is no access to the library's collection during this time. We hope that you will visit us when we reopen in late August 2008 in our new, larger space to the east of Lewis Lounge.
Part of the Institute of Catholic Thought of St. John's Catholic Newman Center, the Bishop O'Rourke library provides resources for the research and study of the Catholic faith, including over 7000 volumes focused on Catholic history, theology, and spirituality.
Located beneath St. John's Catholic Chapel, the library is accessible to Newman residents 24 hours per day for study and research. The library is open to the public for the samĀe purposes from 9:00am-4pm M-F.
